Thanks to the City of Flagstaff and their Beautification in Action committee and their generous grant, my ravens now adorn a utility box in Flagstaff, Arizona bringing more art to our community. It's a wonderful reminder of the power of advocacy and the beauty that can emerge when we invest in our surroundings with public art.

Mural for Casa de la Esperanza in Sasabe, Mexico
After a heartfelt conversation with my friend Dora Rodriguez, the founder of the humanitarian organization Salvavision, my daughter Ember and I embarked on a journey south. Together, we donated a mural to the Casa de la Esperanza resource/migrant center in Sasabe, Mexico.
What initially started out as a blank white wall eventually transformed into a space alive with vibrant color. The center piece, Our Lady of Guadalupe accompanied by monarch butterflies, both being symbols of compassion, hope and love are the warm images that welcome all travelers and the local community.

The detailed design on the dress, the lining around the green mantle along with the stars are painted in shining gold metallic paint.

A short documentary was created about the personal transformation an artist goes through and this project was featured in the film. It was filmed by award winning filmmaker, Ember Crowley and can be viewed at filmfreeway.com/BehindThePaintbrush
Murals at The Campus Coffee Bean
Welcome to The Campus CoffeeBean, where art meets caffeine! These vibrant murals, inspired by Greco-Roman themes, celebrate the beauty of culture and the joy of starting each day with a delightful cup of coffee. You'll find a stunning depiction of a woman dancing with her coffee cup, embodying the perfect blend of energy and elegance. These were such a joy to create and when anyone comes into the shop, when they walk down the hall and look up to their left, they'll see the little goldfish I added so that I would have company while I painted. :)

"First International Dark Sky City" Mural on Arizona Music Pro, Route 66. 2025

Pluto was discovered at Flagstaff's Lowell Observatory. I wanted our beloved planet to have a place of honor nestled in an oak tree which are prominent trees in northern Arizona.

The musical notes are accurate and can be played! The score is "Jupiter", composed by Gustav Holst from his symphony, "The Planets"
Percival Lowell, our founder of Lowell Observatory where Pluto was discovered, conducted extensive research about Jupiter and Mars.
